After reading the thread about Allardyce, I wanna know what exactly is the deal with having an English manager for England? Frankly I don't know why people like Sam are making it such an issue. But if anyone can, I would most certainly like to hear the case as to why the next England manager must be English? And why do people like Sam seem to think that nationality has some bearing on your ability and eligibility to be manager? I frankly can't understand it. And when they want an English manager does that mean they want someone who's managed a team in the EPL? To what extent are they willing to go for an English manager whos managing a team in say the J-league or some other less known league in some distant corner of the world? The likes of Curbs and Sam havent managed big teams before, nor have they had international experience, who is to say that they would be better than an English manager managing a Japanese league side or some other less known league team?
