For one thing, they don't name who this close source is. Another it says that it is thought to have upset the Spaniard, note the keyword thought to! That hardly seems like a dead certainty that Rafa was upset because of the supposed lack of backing. Besides who is to say that Rafa was upset for the above reason implied? For all we know Rafa could have been upset simply because RM don't seem to understand the words 'no' and 'not interested' inspite of repeated declarations that he is happy at Anfield. Or he could have been upset at something else Also according to the article RM made this tentative move 2 months ago, didn't Rafa give a statement indicating his desire to stay only just a couple of days ago? Finally is Rafa such an insecure man that he needs his cheif exec to make public delcarations and to hold frivolous press conferences just to simply declare that Rafa is wanted here? We the fans love him, I'm sure the players hold great respect for him and respond to him well. The Board has consistently backed him and have given him the wide lattitude he craved for. As far as I am concerned Liverpool FC as a whole through action and deed have demonsrated that they want Rafa without the need to make it explicity known. Seriously I wish RM would do us a favour and go after Mourinhio instead
