Yeah, what's his angle? Couldn't quite decide. The flag meffs are making it rubbish, the people the flag meffs hate are making it rubbish, or both of the above? I guess the defining bit is the watches getting nicked in south London stuff. That feels very tropey.

OK, well sustained for whatever that period was. He was absolutely out of this world.

We have this debate every couple of months don't we? Suarez produced the highest season-long level of play I've ever seen from a Liverpool player but he's quite a way down my list of greatest Liverpool players for all sorts of reasons. There are at least two lads in the current side I'd put ahead of him in Salah and Virgil. Probably Ali too.

Why would his family come to watch him ref anyway? It's like me inviting my mum to watch me teach a lesson. All just betrays the mindset that they see themselves as being somehow a big part of the spectacle. They really, really want VAR to fail don't they?
