I thought Pennant looked good. Bellamy did great to set Reina up, shame he skied it Paletta was class first half. Zenden played pretty well throughout. Momo demonstrated that he still hasn't learned the English word 'friendly' yet.

All over. Hobbs 3 - Liverpool 2 I guess Hobbs doesn't play centre back for the reserves much either, but it's still some trick making Traore look good.

We did play 352 a couple of times last season. Will Agger able to bring the ball out from the back I can see us doing that again a few times this season.

I've saying this for about 2 years now. England's strengths are at centre back and central midfield, so play as many centre backs and central midfielders as you can! Sven should have taken SWP as an option at right wing back. I assume that's Ashley Cole at left wing back? In which case I'd have Joe Cole ahead of Lampard (on current form) in central midfield. -

I was watching the B game the other evening and thinking to myself that all Carrick was doing was playing himself out of the starting 11. I'm not sure playing Carra - or any centre back - there makes much sense, but at least he'll shore up the defense I suppose.
