That was our first clean sheet on the road in the league this season. It's a start. Maybe we should play Warnock at left back and Riise left midfield, with Garcia (if fit) on the right?

Another good story about Puskas was during his first coaching job (in Canada I think) - he had all sorts of confidence problems with his goalkeepers because they couldn't face his thunderbolt shooting in training!

There's a fun movie called Magyar Vandor (Hungarian Wanderers) that features that game. In the movie version it finished 11-2 to the Hungarians, and only some fast talking by the English captain got the scoreline changed to 6-3... That Hungarian team actually only lost 1 match in 6 years. The World Cup Final. Dodgy French ref I think. Great story

Ferenc Puskas died this morning aged 79. I've heard nothing but good things about him since I first arrived in Hungary, and I was inspired by the stories to use his name on this board. 83 goals in 84 games for Hungary. 4 goals in one European Cup Final for Real Madrid (won three European cups with them). 512 goals for Real in 528 matches. The star of the show during Englands first ever defeat at Wembley, when they were trounced 6:3 by the Magnificent Magyars. A true footballing legend. RIP.

Have you seen how we 'pass' the ball when Xabi is not in the team? It's horrifying. Xabi is the glue that keeps our side together. And the only midfielder on show against Arsenal.
