    Away with work and unlucky enough to catch the last 20 mins at a bar on the way back to the hotel and was thinking the same, just chuck the mad, daft b*****d on upfront if we could with VVD and to f***ing helll with it all. Arne also needs to embrace half-time subs, this 60 mins b******s needs doing away with.

    Baffling isn’t it, f***ing 4-1-5 when our CBs have the ball and when we have it in the last third it’s like watching a handball game in slow motion. Side pass, side pass, side pass, winger gets it, does f*** all, back to square one.

    Not a great argument I’ll give here but Forrest are a tough side to play against for a team like ours, turned us over at Anfield last year and we scraped a 99th minute winner at theirs in the return fixture. They’re physical, hard working and put a challenge in, everything we aren’t right now.

    Grasping at straws I suppose but the run of games coming up could (should) see us picking up wins and getting back around the top four if not in it. Still over a third of the season to go etc Huge lack of press, general effort and fight right now. Tackling like f***ing tarts all over the pitch and fitness levels of a pub side.

    Two points off 4th and five points off 2nd. They just need to start working as hard as they did against Madrid, the squad and talent is there it’s just been a s***show of knackered regulars and new signings not hitting the mark.

    Mad that only two points separate us in 11th from 4th after nearly a third of the season played. Personally I’d give him three more months and a f***ing b******ing beyond belief to turn this around. Whatever good grace he’s earned from last year is on its very last legs right now.

    Agreed but should have come flying back after the pen save, and might sound harsh but I think Robbo should be getting out of the six yard box as soon as that cross comes in, it wasn’t whipped close to keeper and he’s experienced enough to know to step up with their back line. Terrible day at the office again, f***ing depressing.

    He’s totally overawed right now, had ten yards of space to move forward and t*** it at the goal and took a pointless extra touch dithering on the ball.

    If we stick with 4-3-3 there’s literally no other option save for Chiesa right now, and the manager just doesn’t see it with him.

    Palace worked their b******s off against us, doubling up on our wingers every time, we don’t look arsed.

    He wanted out the season before to Barca, was a good move for him and our signings just aren’t there right now. i thought we’d see more from Wirtz on the left having more time and naturally cutting in on his stronger foot, some good moments but he’s so f***ing weak on the ball and his constantly under-hit passing is really getting old quick.
