    He’s a luxury right now because we don’t have a 6 and it’s been an issue for a while, Mac not 100% like today exposes us massively. Was like the start of this year when other teams danced through our midfield.

    Don’t think that’s an easy chance even for a striker but his effort was awful.

    It was a total mess, Macca reminded me of Thiago today - getting the ball off the left back five yards away from him and doing f*** all with it before being caught out of position when we lost it.h

    Miles better than he was first half but that’s a very low bar. Still trying to work out what we meant to be lining up as first half, 4-2-2-2? It was shockingly bad.

    In fairness Salahs hand is very close looking the replays, would have been the icing on the cake for his performance, Palaces best player at times.
