  1. McCoist and Cole said both centre halfs were man if match, they gave it to Virg as he scored. Nod to Wirtz also.
  2. Thought he looked OK first half, he kept going round the outside.
  3. He's on the bench, consistently. Do people realise how good at football you need to be to get on the bench at Liverpool. He's a RB, yet Connor, Frimpong, Gomez, Dom, Jones and Endo are all ahead of him. It's mad. I still think we will win tonight though
  4. He's on the bench, for Liverpool. If he was that bad he wouldn't be there, since Jones. Gomez, Kerkez and Robbo could all probably play there if needed.
  5. There is no fuxking way Endo is a better RB than Ramsay. Unbelievable.
  6. I read that as Dudek! had me all sorts of confused...
  7. We do need those, but I think we need a 6 more. Attack and defence looks so much better and when you have a good 6.
  8. I think we notice that all "experienced" coaches eventually take this position don't they. Only someone trying to make a name for themselves, Rosenior, truly accepts that model.
  9. This has been obvious from the beginning. There are loads of good reasons to have a dig at Slot, but player recruitment / sales is not one of them. He has nothing to do with it. The lack of balance in the squad is entirely Hughes/Edwards. This season hasn't played out as they planned, particularly all the defensive injuries, so in reality we don't really know what the plan was. I.e. was it two up top or Isak as the main focus with Ekitike back up? Was Salah going to be managed, or was Frimpong going to be fit and overlap him. Was Kerkez expected to hit the ground running due to prem experience, or has his early struggles surprised them. Etc etc.... All that said, Slot's management of the team has been horrible at times. He's not a leader, a man manager.. but then look at his brief, he's "coach". He's not got the same brief as Klopp.
  10. Decent results in our favour. C'mon the reds.
  11. I think we'll win, because Ekitike is brilliant.
  12. That free kick... what a belter. Criminal it counted for nothing. Watching Donnaruma not even try to get there despite Dom being about 30 yards out was incredible.
  13. Yeah, did the opposite, told us all how much better they were than maybe we were seeing with our own eyes. Proper leader in public.
  14. He does seem to have a focus on what can't be done, rather than what can be. Complete opposite thinking of Klopp. The harder it got, the more the odds were stacked against him, the more Klopp puffed his chest out and said let's have it, and his players followed him through brick walls.
  15. Are the reports of Salah's grandfather's death true? News doesn't seem tp appear in mainstream outlets yet. I guess he's unlikely to play if true.
  16. Leaves the trophy with us though, right?
  17. The fringe players especially must be so lost right now, no idea what their place is.
  18. All starting to sound very Amorin isn't it.
  19. Ask yourself why they want to save the money.. If he thought Elliot was brilliant they'd play and buy him. Emery is a skank.
  20. We've beaten Arsenal over "two legs" already in the league this year
  21. Whilst I agree bringing Rio on is also a massive gamble, he should have been on with a good 20/25 minutes to try and do something. Criminal he's not trying it, I don't care how young and raw he is. He's on the bench, use him when Gakpo is clearly stinking the place out.
  22. Not factually correct since we're currently two wins behind Chelsea, but I do understand that we have to win a significant number of games. Might be misplaced hope, but I just think we'll do it.
