    Two little boys...

I've heard it sang and it's stirring stuff , apart from the ranks of blue business
  2. I understand why a lot of people prefer the old 'all action' Gerrard and he doesn't track back with any where near the gusto that he used to (that is probably one of the few criticisms I have of him) however ,I feel that a lot of that maybe Rafa telling him to conserve his energy to be more effective over a longer period of time rather than explosive over a shorter time period . Another point is that he's a scouser in his mid 20's and despite all the trappings , he's got the same scowl as every other mid-20's scouser , too many people read too much into his facial expressions.

    Was Pongo sold?

Maybe it's a Barragan style buy back thing
  4. Bizzies in Cyprus have apparently said they cannot police the game due to security issues , so WAFA will have to look elsewhere.
  5. Mad Erik with goals would do me fine
  6. I think Maldini is right in how it works , it's quite common in Spain and is why players seem to switch clubs a lot. In effect we have loaned them the player and they have loaned us the money , in 2 years we decide whether the player/money is returned or not.
  7. That cameraman obvioulsy used to work on an 80's "yoof" show

    Bellers and Penny

You can tell about some players at pre-season. Do you remember Sean Dundee saying how quick he was and saying that he couldn't wait to compare himself to Owen? When the fat porker turned up at Crewe and was painfully slow as well as having the footballing ability of Diana Ross , it proved to be a good pointer for the remainder of his career

    Craig Lindfield

Are you trying to say that they play bumming games together?
  10. James Richardson seemed pretty certain that if they only went down 1 division , Juve would try to loan a few of the players for a year and get the back once they got promoted. If they go down 2 divisions they're knackered
  11. Too right. I want to know what his favourite colour is
  12. I hope so , obviously Alves is some backward spelling of a Romanian curse breaker and that is why Rafa is so desperate to bring him to Anfield
  13. Aurelio the new Nunez? Cheers Elisha
  14. He's a winger

    NEWS ARTICLE

Elvis is dead and not to my knowledge resurected although he has had a couple of number ones in the hit parade since he was deceased
  16. To be fair he's just been married and his manager accuses him of "daliances" with 3 girls in his room. He's got to keep up the "shocked and stunned from Santiago" line otherwise he won't be playing bumming games with his dirty new missus for a while.
  17. The Echo confirmed the £1.5m price tag a few months back.
  18. I think there's been talk of Carson going to Cardiff and Sam Hamman was supposedly at Anfield last week.
  19. http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/20060627/NO...A223144583.html 27/06/06 03:00 h.the Liverpool has placed its eyes in one of the most promising defenders of the Spanish soccer, Paco Regalón. The footballer, that military it passed campaign in the Aviation in spite of having age of youthful, has awoke the interest of one of the largest assemblies of Europe. In the company of the apple Orchards they know the potential of the footballer and they will do the impossible thing so that the next season continue dressing the red-and-white elastic. Al technical 'network', Rafa Benítez, itself not him passed through high one of the young pearls that has in its quarry the Athletic one of Madrid. The coach of Madrid knows very well the lower categories of the assemblies of Madrid, since great part of his career working in the soccer base of the Real Madrid he has been. Paco Regalón is a defense that can play so much of right winger as of head office. In the band becomes a player that complies to the perfection in defense and al that him does not cost to be incorporated al attack, while in the center of the zaga is a very fast footballer, with good anticipation and that goes well of so much head in his area as in the opponent. This campaign has marked two goals in played ball stopped. Its projection has not passed unnoticed for the responsablesde the quarry of the Athletic one. Therefore it will play this season in the subsidiary, although by the great future that hoards, they do not rule out to see him soon in the first team. It they passed campaign already played two parties with the Athletic one B, but the needs of the Aviation caused they returned to Third to try to avoid a catastrophe, the descent. English tradition Regalón would be able to continue the steps of Cesc (Arsenal), I Stung (Manchester United) or Barragán (Liverpool). The English have begun to fish in the Spanish quarries and the 'Spanish Liverpool' is not an exception. Cesc is the leader of this generation of players. For the time being, is the only Spaniard that has succeeded in the Premier entering from below, but so much to I Stung as to Barragán many years they remain them to finish rivaling al of Arenys of Sea. Now, Regalón would be able to continue its steps.

    John Barnes

I went to every game in 1990 and I can assure you that Digger almost single handedly won us the title that season
  23. If it's true that he's agreed to a pay cut to go and we aren't topping up any of his wages then that should save us a few mill over the year
  24. Carra didn't great yesterday either though. The proof of the pudding will be how he does after getting kicked for 38 games as season not just for one
