Gomez does get drawn too far in to the middle when the opposition right back/right mid has the ball. Noticed him a few times yesterday have to check himself, look over his shoulder at the oppo player(wide left) and move a good ten yards wider. So he was noticing it, but that was against very limited oppoesition. It's clear that right back is not his natural position. He's doing ok there, but he's having to really work at it, I think.

Absolutely. The disbelief that I am currently hearing voiced by fans of other clubs is just the icing on the cake. Absolutely loving it. And the best bit, there's absolutely no need to rub it in. They're all tearing themselves apart over it. The worst/best I got from an Arsenal (??) fan last night, when I just said in all seriousness "it's a tough competition this one, you know" was "yeah we know, we've been in it for years".
