Scheva confirms he wants to leave AC Milan
Nerik replied to Nerik's topic in General Football Discussion
Well the Milan website is obviously going to make it seem as least painful as possible until he makes a final decision, but what I translated earlier is what he said in the press conference and other sites are also quoting. Whether he said all those things at one stage or another and people are cutting and pasting to make it one continuous statement is another thing. -
Just held a press conference. Translated: In a hastily organised press conference, Milan's Ukranian striker Schevchenko declared: " I want to leave. I can no longer hide this desire of mine from the fans. I have spoken to Berlusconi about this but no decision has been taken. I have no problems at AC Milan, my reasons for wanting to leave are personal."

He is a good player. His first 2 seasons at Inter were fantastic. This year he does not seem to be up to much and it is a mystery for all Inter fans as he was a firm fave. He had the same impact Owen had on our team in 97/98 and it has fizzled out this season. He is very fast and can score some good goals. At a decent price he would be well worth a gamble I think.

There were some problems between us and them in the Lge Cup semi in 2003. The Kop were singing "Warnock, Warnock what's the score?" and he V-signed them. Henchoz spat in his direction after the game.

Here is a translation of the article below taken from www.sports.virgilio.it Liverpool offer Morientes for Martins Yet another disappointing performance by Oba Martions on Sunday afternoon at home to Siena. Goals presented to him on a plate were missed and his technical performance was so embarrassing that he was booed by his own supporters. His latest performances have been very worrying and this has irritated Mancini who has had a lot of faith in him this year, but this faith has not been repaid. Martins, born in 1984, is a product of Inter Milan having come through their academy but his future at the club is now more than uncertain. Given his young age he may be subject to a lot of interest from other clubs and this is what is happening. Tottenham and Newcastle have both offered close to 10m Euros for him. Inter have however made it clear that they want at least 15m for the player or at least a good counterweight in the deal. Inter are now in fact considering an offer by Liverpool of Fernando Morientes plus cash for the Nigerian striker. The Spanish striker, not utilised too much by Rafael Benitez this season, wants a new challenge and the opportunity to play in the Serie A interests him a lot. 'El Moro' is without a doubt a striker capable of scoring many goals as his career statistics with Real Madrid, Monaco and Liverpool prove. From a purely technical viewpoint such a deal would not be an ideal one for Inter as Morientes is primarily an out and out striker and he would further crowd that area of Inter's squad. However Adriano's future at the club is still uncertain whilst Cruz is certain to remain at Inter for at least another season.

It never looked like 50/50 possession in the 1st half!

From Calciomercato.com Aguero seems poised to leave Atletico Madrid with him saying the following after Independiente's league match against Olimpo "This could have been my last game with Independiente, but I do not know anything for certain. There has been a lot of talk about my future but nothing is confirmed. However it is unlikely that I will stay". A yellow card means that he is suspended for the final game of the season against Boca Juniors. Talk in Spain is that Atletico directors are claiming that he is signing for Atletico Madrid for 23m Euros. An official announcement is expected in the coming weeks.

Italian media is reporting that Barcelona have halted talks with Liverpool over the transfer of Giuly from the Catalan club to Merseyside. Talks were believed to be underway but the good performances Giuly has put in of late has seen Barcelona have a change of heart and they are now seemingly going to offer the French player a new contract at the end of the season.

Result of the toss for shirt colours at cardiff
Nerik replied to The Mighty Kemlyn's topic in Liverpool FC
Last time we won it we were in our away kit! Still great to see us in Red though. -
Amazing run. 2nd time this season we've done this which says a lot. Cisse's 17 goal tally ain't bad at all. 8 in the Premiership which is as many as people such as Gerrard have scored I think.
