It now seems obvious that he was bought with the intention of selling on. He was good value as we wrote off Josemi in exchange for him and then made money selling him to PSV. He is a decent RB I think.

Drove it over a cliff? Didn't he end up under some container truck on the autostrada? I may be wrong.

Things were dire at the end under GH but he has always been good towards LFC and tried his best when here. We had good times and bad times with him but I think most fans would applaud him for the good things he gave us. We have moved on since and do not miss him, but it would be great to thank him.

Rafa is not one to lavish praise on players for nothing but really praised this guy so there must be something we have not yet seen. It will take a foreign winger with a far from big physique time to adapt.

Yeah he was. I was Anny Road end and in the 1st half he pulled a trick by the corner flag in which he dragged his foot back and with a clever touch played in Traore to cross. Amazing.

I consider myself lucky enough to have witnessed his best ever game for Liverpool. The 3-1 vs Fulham in 04/05. In the 1st half he had Fulham bamboozled with all the moves that he was carrying out.

Great player who I think tried hard for us but could not adapt. It happens. He was a good pro and a nice guy and it was a real pity it did not work out. He is apparently wanted by Juventus now.
