  1. Apparently he was on the phone with his girlfriend when it happened Football simply becomes irrelevant in situations like these Terrible stuff. R.I.P.
  2. Great dummy by Torres. Lucas heads wide from the resulting corner.
  3. Yes, but it's nice to see a player not afraid of trying something on his own. Yossi's been on of the best players in the first half; working hard and trying to create something.
  4. Still, it's not allowed kicking down players from behind HT. We haven't been too impressive but we still have a week to sort things out.
  5. Yossi has the ball glued to his feet at times. Good stuff.
  6. Masch over hits a cross after a good run down the right. We're not dominating at all. Torres really looks up for it today.
  7. Yossi being kicked down from behind, ref doesn't care... doesn't look serious as he's up again, but it was deffo a yellow card.
  8. Our central midfield isn't working. Lucas showed some promise early on in the game (except from his final passes!) but currently he's just running around looking confused.
  9. Too many players not getting in there... Torres hits the post!
  10. Two nil ... manc c***... great goal
  11. Was thinking just that. He's doing well on the right wing but he's nowhere to been seen at right back. Agüero's enjoying acres of space. Gerrard and Torres just need some games and they'll be combining and scoring goals for fun!
  12. Hope we just subbed Carra as a precaution. If he's injured we're worse off in defence than Spurs!
  13. If we get Poulsen (we'll get him on the cheap, very cheap indeed, as Juve want rid ASAP) and Aquilani it's very shrewd business. Poulsen covers the defensive midfield but he's better than Masch at going forward. I'm not saying he's better than Masch overall, not by a long shot, but we'll get a player that's versatile in the middle of the park and offers a lot to the team, plus he's very professional (except from the odd blackout like the punch in the stomach he gave a Swedish player) . Aquilani will be boss as a box-to-box midfielder if he stays clear of injury. If we're able to add an attacking wide player along with said players we'll have nice depth in the middle. Having said that, I'm gutted Xabi's leaving. And to THAT "club" as well ... crap! If Real win absolutely nothing this season I'll be extremely delighted (as always ). It's gonna be an exciting two weeks though, no doubt!
  14. No reason to cheer on a club that is f***ing us over, just because Xabi's there. It would be soooo sweet if Real crash and burn this season!
  15. We've all but signed Nicolaj Køhlert from Esbjerg YAY! Short translation: According to JydskeVestkysten 16-year-old Nicolaj Køhlert will sign for Liverpool within days. He's been on trial last spring and he left a good impression. He'll sign when he gets back from his holidays but the paper hasn't been able to get confirmation from Liverpool, the player himself or his agent. He still needs to negotiate his personal details but that is a formality, according to the paper. He's a midfielder and part of the Danish U16s. --- I don't know ANYTHING about the kid ... except he comes from a town that reeks of fish!
  16. Christian Poulsen could actually be an interesting signing. He's a decent passer of the ball (not as good as Xabi though), but he would need to bulk up a bit. He doesn't get forward enough in my opinion (typing this, I'm thinking he reminds me a bit of Didi) and he can be a bit temperamental sometimes. At £6.4m he would be a really good signing, even if we kept Xabi and Masch. He probably wouldn't move if he wasn't guaranteed a good amount of first team action. Morten Olsen wouldn't advice him to do so either, just like he's been telling Agger to find a new club in order to get regular playing time.
  17. My first thought as well
  18. The Canal+ commentator said it was Capdevila.
  19. They still have to play for 3rd.
  20. Fabregas has been woeful, he's too narrow in his way of playing and he keeps losing possession. Even Xavi can't pass the ball tonight. Torres has been decent. A couple of good chances (especially his solo run on the right side, forcing Howard into a determined foot block), but he's lost the ball too many times. Way better than Villa though.
  21. Let us know if they actually reply to your e-mails. The site states that it will take care of these problems (full refund/new shirt), but it seems like none of us in this thread has actually had a reply from person who owns the site. The quality is ace but it would be nice if you received what you've actually ordered.
