Danish TV3 Puls interviewed Agger after the game and he said that he's not sure if he'll be able to play against utd on Sunday. He also said that, considering how much pain he felt before and during the match, he felt he did okay. He would have liked to score a couple of goals but it wasn't to be. Finally, when asked about Torres' performance, he said that it was unnecessary to comment as Torres' performance spoke for itself. Let's hope he'll be ready for Sunday...

LIVERPOOL Fulham Atlético Madrid Wolfsburg Hamburger SV Benfica Valencia Standard Liège Personally, a trip to Hamburg wouldn't be bad, but I'd rather play them in the final.

In other news............................. Bobby Gold to go? -
At least Aquilani had some minutes... Abysmal performance tonight. Actually, abysmal is way too kind!
-
This has to be the worst, most uninspiring performance this season. Worse than Reading and probably Portsmouth as well. We're absolutely terrified of actually playing football. Shocking effort so far!

I thought they teamed up this season? Canal+ shows a lot of the Spanish games as well, which SBS owns the rights for, right? 6'eren (or is it 9'eren?) also shows one PL game each week. I still hope C+ will be able to sort it out (the company can't afford not to!). The thought of additional s***ty channels like 6'eren and 9'eren sickens me! -
1. Reina 2. Mascherano 3. Gerrard

Do we have proper owners instead of clowns Do we have money instead of beans etc. etc.

A friend of mine wrote to the Danish Canal+ to get an update on the situation. It says that the Danish rights haven't been sold yet but Canal+ reckons it will, as a minimum, get the Danish rights and everything will be back to normal. C+ will inform us ASAP when it has new information. If the channel doesn't get the rights, there'll be enough time to cancel the subscription. PL is the most important thing for C+ and it will do everything to keep the rights. -
He has talent, no doubt, but I don't think he plays regularly for FC Copenhagen. He will within a year though. I rekcon FC Copenhagen would want something like £5m atm. Kjær would cost around twice as much but he's proven quality and a more or less a regular with Denmark along with Agger. Mathias "Zanka" Jørgensen isn't as good now as Agger was when we bought him, so it wouldn't make sense buying him now. http://www.fck.dk/english/squad/25._mathias_zanka/
-
I reckon he would be a step backwards. Skrtel > Kjær. Skrtel is impossible to pronounce correctly! This should help a bit though regarding Kjær: Alt + 145 = æ Alt + 155 = ø (Bonus Mølby info!) Now all we need is Kjær actually signing!
-
Simon Kjær would be a very good signing. Not too expensive either! Good in the air, decent on the ground, Agger's national partner and he scores a decent amount of goals as well. His dad is his agent and both of them are Liverpool fans. That quote about him not choosing Liverpool if he wasn't guaranteed first team football was from his father, I reckon. He's not injury prone either. Can't remember him being out of the Palermo side because of injury. If we get £8m for Skrtel we can almost afford Kjær!
-
Superb own goal. Portsmouth players blasts the ball past James. Next goal will probably be van der sar smashing it in directly from a goal kick. How on earth did we manage to lose against Portsmouth?! They're absolutely atrocious!
-
Portsmouth are doing their best to concede as many goals as possible. They've stopped defending in the second half.
-
1. Kuyt 2. Carra 3. Insúa Everyone deserves immense credit today. Superb team performance, fantastic fight and effort!

I've just read somewhere that Ribery will decide in March if he'll stay at FC Bayern or not. If he doesn't extend his contract he only has a year left and therefore, FC Bayern want to cash in on him. And now here's the "tricky" part. Ribery signed for FCB in 2007 (4 years). Therefore, according to the Webster ruling, he'll be able to choose any non-German club he wishes in the summer with FCB only entitled to a year's salary as compensation, this making him a lot cheaper than Bayern's original price tag. I reckon a lot of players are in a similar situation as well. How come clubs don't take advantage of this? With the little money Rafa has available, this would be a decent opportunity to sign "proven" players or am I just dreaming? I find it a bit odd that no one has exploited this. Maybe I've misunderstood the whole thing...
