Adriano has been very good for Flamengo this season. Mengão could use the money as they have a massive debt (just like us ) and they wouldn't miss Adriano too much until May, as they'll only be playing State Championship futebol until then. That said, I can't imagine us looking at Adriano. He has caused too much trouble too many times for Rafa to consider him, I reckon.

Grêmio fielded an under-strength side, and, apart from history, nothing suggested that Lucas Leiva's former team would cause an upset. Grêmio are absolutely abysmal away from home. In fact, I think they have the worst away record in the Serie A! Game ended 2-1 and everyone's happy! MENGÃO CAMPEÃO!!!
