Thing is though that United scored 87 goals in 2001 and finished 3rd. We scored 20 goals less and finished 2nd. As far as goals scored go, we could use about 10 more a season. But our biggest problem isn't scoring goals, it's unlocking defences. We have a solid option on the left wing next year, and Pennant continuing to improve, and we'll score 60+.

Sissoko was twelvety times better than he's been lately - not up to his level earlier in the season, but still a marked improvement.
