How on earth can you defend the rascism of spanish fans in any way, I don't think anyone was slagging Spain or the spanish off as a whole just those fans and some leading personalities within football who are rascist. I certainly wouldn't try and defend the kind of antics you described above about english people wearing footies tops, vomiting everywhere etc. To try and say that being rascist is ok if it defends the countries way of life is spectacularly wrong in so many ways, rascism can never be seen as an acceptable way to protect your countries way of life as it can only harm it. I think you will find at least 99% of people on here wanted Spain to win. They just need to sort the rascism on the terraces out and stop the likes of Arragones spouting it in interviews, if you can't then Uefa/Fifa need to, although I don't think they have the bottle to do so.

I still don't believe this is the major issue that clearly SOS think it is, most other clubs run similar schemes and we are just following suit and if you wanted to be a member of the OLSC it actually cost more than this. I really don't have a problem with the club doing this. I do find it slightly ironic that SOS criticise the club for charging fans to "belong" to LFC but charge fans themselves to "belong" to SOS. For what its worth I think there are areas of criticism should remain focused on the issue of the lies G+H told about the debt against the club and the staduim, plus there undermining of the manager. These areas are the ones which will get the majority of fans united against the owners, I think it all gets diluted when issues such as transfers and membership schemes are brought up by SOS.

This thread is pure speculation and actually does damage to the anti G+H cause, why try and raise an issue that isn't even on the cards. There are plenty of things to have a go at the two idiots about but this isn't one of them, its a bit like the transfer issue, something they can easily counter, the main focus against them has to be based around the lies they have told and the debt they are putting the club in.

Was this by a call to the ticket office or a formal enquiry to the club at a decision making level? Only reason being is when I rang the ticket office they said they didn't know and hadn't been told what future arrangements would be beyond this season. So a bit of a mixed message really.

So what is the problem you have with it? Before you reply read the Echo article and the one on the offal and tell me what the problem is because I don't see it.
