Although it looks like both the Madrid (playing style?) and Barca (playing style? history?) jobs will be up for grabs in the summer too. Before he signed for us, having watched a bit of him for Spain and AM, I had him down as a bit of a bottler. I'd seen him disappear from games. I think it was for sure after the Reading CC game, that I realised I had misjudged his attitude completely. Instead of being a moaning, whining, roll-around-the-ground-c*nt, the lad gets up and keeps playing his game. And then he punishes you. He is f*cking brilliant. I love him.

Zlatan can show some sublime skills at times, but I've never seen him do it when it mattered. A bottler when it's put up to him. Could say much the same about Totti.

I agree with you about the type of striker that would compliment Torres, mick, but if nothing else he'd offer an alternative to The Kid. While I would prefer Torres as the focal point in the attack, I think he offers enough to be a foil for someone as well. The argument was made about Rooney and Tevez being too similar for the Mancs and they're not doing too bad. Jesus, if we could afford him and he wanted to come I'd have him like a shot and I suspect most managers in football would too - I don't think fitting him into a Liverpool team is the issue here.
