You guy who done it seems to get a lot of stuff right to be far - called the Pepe staying thing 1st as I recall and his list of targets seem like our kind of targets (i.e. young and good). Ramirez or Reus would certainly give us some ace attacking options.

Aparently Commoli went all out for him this summer and Lille werent budging, shame as it would have been quite a coup. I think we need someone like him to add to Suarez, another genius.

Morgan and Sterling look great - both would make excellent wildcard subs in some games but our squad is ace so can't see it for a good while.

Not sure playing Hendo in a mid with two and dropping Lucas is anywhere near clever. I think he is going to be a top player, his technique and ball control are excellent, he has an engine and can pick a pass, a very talented boy this lad. Fee was very high, but we are great at that aint we! Enjoyed watching him play recently, like him a lot. I'd deffo give him again alongside Lucas as some point to see how he gets on as he has centre mid written all over him - we just need that genius of a right mid 1st!

Onething that does seem to consistent is whatever centre backs play the previous game play the next game in the league, which only seems to get distrubted by injury... Hope we continue with that theme this time too.

That is my main concern - that and him being in scoring positions when we are attacking, which I guess in some ways is the same thing. He has got all the attibutes, as I said earlier in the thread he needs the word 'goals' drumming into him so it is the only thing he thinks about, I reckon there is easy a 20+ a season man in there, he just needs to believe it himself.

I'm warming slightly to Spearing, he is 'useful'. I'd really like to see a midfield of: Gerrard - Lucas - Henderson - Downing With Luis and Andy up top.

He needs a proper run in the side, hopefully starting now. He COULD be a massive player for us, whether it will turn out that way I'm unsure...

Best player on the pitch on Saturday, thought he was excellent the whole game and really enjoyed watching him. Keep him in on sat, maybe start Henderson in the middle against Stoke?

I fail to see a case for Spearing as he is a level below the rest of our 1st team squad and we have Gerrard back and Henderson who hasnt been starting. Shame about Maxi, he was on fire towards the end of last season and one of the reasons the team was playing so well. I guess a big squad packed with 20 quality players has it's casualies!
