This is dragging on aint it? And we also know who will come off worse the longer this goes on especially with the 'not guily' verdict which I have more than a sneaky feeling will be the case. Pathetic. The good thing is his performances are overshadowing this murky business and with every twist and turn this people are talking more about how good the lad is rather than the background noise of this unsavory case.

Agreed, him and and Enrique are an excellent set of full backs, got the lot. Johnson should be ideal for the Swanseas at home, but it doesnt always work out like that as with last Saturday. Kelly was excellent at CB last night for the under 21s. Him and Coates there in a few years maybe!

Dont think you need two defensive mids and you certainly dont in a three. Would love to see a mid three combo of Lucas, Henderson, Gerrard - although I'd quite happily have Adam in there in place of Henderson as he was quality there against the mancs.

Ran more than anyone else on the pitch on sat. I think he needs to play in a three in midfield, like he did against the mancs, then we'll see the best of him. Playing a two in midfield is always going to leave us more open with the generic 4-3-3 most teams play now.

Defintely. I'd love to see a midfield three of: Lucas Henderson Gerrard That has the lot. Henderson has some brilliant attributes, he is technically excellent, can pass, has an engine and speed, he could be brilliant in the centre three alonside those two. If Gerrard isnt fit, I'd still play a three with Adam in there as playing a two just isnt working.

I'd say it is both.

What spearing could do is play the momo sissoko role. Lucas to hold and Spearing to run round pestering the opposition and not giving them a moments piece before passing ashort to someone better. Momo was great at doing that until the eye injury and Spearing was doing this well last season. It was working towards the end of last season and there is an argument it could work again in this team as we are lacking some energy in there.

Bween saying this for years and undoubtable the answer is YES. Have you seen the size of that lot's from down the M62? It is massive and has served them well over the years. Its easier to park the bus when there is less room to get passed it. Thats the strangest part for me, that worked and worked superbly. One was sold and two were struggle to get on the pitch, completely change our midfield from last season and I dont think it's been for the better, far from it. The crazy movement we had then was brilliant to watch, now we look so much more static and much more clueless. Plus two of those three were regular scorers, we have Suarez now and thats it.
