Not sure Suarez would be too happy with a rest, we are full weeks between games now so that's enough rest for anyone and he obviously wont be playing against Rangers. I'd play him in every game unless he is completely f***ed from coming back from South American like against Arsenal. With Lucas out it will be very interesting to see the midfield, would love to see Gerrard paired with Adam and Bellamy and Carroll coming in as suggested before, that team would be ace to watch. I personally don't rate wee Jay, he would be good in a scrappy game but Gerrard can hold and Henderson is a better player, not sure he is needed here. I'm looking forward to watching us this weekend a lot.

Thinking Carroll in my fantasy footyball team for this one. Deffo no Lucas so I can see us playing the Geordie and Uruguayan up top to tear them a new one. Hope Agger comes back in too, the sooner the better.

A better comparison might be Alan Shearer. His goalscoring record before he went to Kenny's Blackburn was very patchy, then he just clicked. Carroll's goalscoring record before we signed him was much better than Shearer's was at Southampton. I'm holding out big hope for Andy, he's only 22, needs to improve his movement in and around the box and he should be set. The service hasnt been great - I cant think of one chance he has had were I thought he should have scored. Needs to improve his movement, stay on the last man and the service should get better now with our main man back in the team.

It certainly looked that way when I seen them. The Barton balls are what Stevie loves to swing it. That sounded wrong.

I wouldnt, I think Kelly is a better player and a much better defender. Johnson is ideal when you have the 'park the bus' lot at Anfield but other than that it would be Kelly every time for me.
