If he plays like that for one game in six and is as fantastic as he has been in the other 5 then I will take that all day long. Top striker. I like the tactics of starting with all out attack and outscoring the oppo and if the other team is getting a grip of the game bringing Joe Allen on so we keep the ball. Effective.

He played his best footy for us in that role, not saying he is defensively as good cause he is nowhere near but as cover is he alright when we should be looking to improve the starting 11.

The mancs have been getting away with it for years with having ace attacking players, now we have be attacking players, lets do it. Oldham? Sterling, Borini wasn't it? Completely different to this.

If we had a boss attacking in place of Downing we would be awesome that's why I think we need that most. Enrique is pretty good, not amazing but decent enough and we have Johnson to cover that side with Kelly and Wisdom to cover the other side. Allen can cover the Lucas role. We have Texiera coming through in centre mid too. Think we are all good there with this new attacking formation as we have currently have 2 positions to be filled by Gerrard and Lucas with Allen and Henderson and the younger lads as backups. Just think that ace attacking player would put us right in the game for next season.

Two news CB's - those Feyernoord lads would do it. A boss attacking player - Alexis / Ben Arfa etc A goalscorer to back up Sturridge and increase our scoring options from the bench. That is it I reckon.

I would love to know the question that this was the answer too, not quite as much as been ignorant too it and being sat here dumbfounded.

Deffo, hope he carries on like that, like the Reina of old. Maybe he has been our team improve and where we could go with this and has raised his game accordingly. I'd rather he improves and stays than get another keeper in, clearly a big character and he is deffo an assest when he plays like that.
