Been quite a bit of progress recently. One bad result and knives are out, yes he made a mistake in his tactics, a big one, if he learns he will do well, if he doesn't he will ultimately lose his job in the long run. I hope he learns and makes us a success, I like what he is trying to do, he has us scoring goals regularly and we haven't done that in years. Next season should be really interesting either way, I think he can do this, but he needs to learn from this weekends game.

But playing a specialist deep lying playmaker, a very good one, in a position he isn't suited has got to be some of Rodgers fault too. I think he would have been great alongside Lucas, but Lucas was injured at first and Gerrard played there when he came back and then there was Allen, so we'll never know.

We need at the very, very least one defender so LOVES to defend, loves it like nothing else in his life, including his kids, just loves to head it a mile in the air just so he can head it again dead hard, tackle brick walls in his spare time and crunch his wife in living room when she has her back turned for 'practice'.

He is a deep lying playmaker and always has been. Rodgers signed Allen and Gerrard wanted to move into this role and we also have Henderson fighting for his place. I think Sahin would have excelled alongside Lucas.

Gutted about that result at the weekend with Spurs getting beat, would have been 6 points behind on the same games played. I think Brendan has to take what happened on Saturday as a harsh lesson and one that needs to be learned, not starting Lucas was pure folly and one I hope he never makes again. Also I think away from home away with need to start with 3 in midfield, at home I think we should always go for the win, particularly against the 'lesser' teams and maybe tighten up against the bigger teams who play three in the middle. With this at away from home and against the top teams at home I think we should go with a front six of: Henderson - Lucas - Gerrard Suarez - Sturridge - Coutinho With Suarez license to roam and Henderson covering him when needed. And at home go with what we have been: Lucas - Gerrard Downing - Suarez - Coutinho Sturridge
