Stevie

Not Gakpo

Yeah he plays out wide which should hopefully help Isak as we’d play more like he did with Newcastle.

He looked decent enough in the few appearances he made for us when he was fit. Think we signed him even though he had a stress fracture in his back. He’s had one injury after another since then though which is why he’s been in and out of teams and was struggling for form. If he’s fit he needs to be getting time on the pitch.

I’m really not saying Mo wasn’t out of line with his outburst. It’s just that we’ve probably all had a boss who has had a really s*** idea about something, you explain your reasons why the idea is s*** because you’ve been around a bit, they ignore you, the idea continues to fail, the boss persists with the s*** idea and you kind of lose your rag. We’ve all been there, right?! The situation should never have got to this point. All parties need to get over it.

Do you not think the s*** tactics and the results have contributed to where we are today?

Do you not think what Slot’s been doing lately has been the reason for Mo’s outburst?

They’ve both f***ed up recently in my opinion

Fantastic result and I rather liked it being a pretty drab game. Isak and Ekitike need to be working a lot better together. They could be lethal but are playing as individuals. Quite enjoyed listening to Studge, Seedorf and Luis on Prime. Seedorf has obviously been there seen it and done it and was the voice of reason with Slot regarding Mo. It takes a man to make the first step in resolving issues like with what’s happened with Mo and as the manager he should be stepping up and putting his big pants on and trying to clear the air and sort things. Bit disappointed in Slot’s response. He’s nothing like Jürgen in that regard.

Cracking pen. Karma for our goal that was unfairly disallowed

We are one of the worst teams in the league at defending. Not marking, diving in, not owning the ball or the situation, flapping, panicking. No idea what the coaches are doing. They don’t even need to be on the training pitch to fix at least some of that.

What a dire, turgid half from us. Predictable, no press and slow.

Yeah, Hamza Choudhury I think. Absolute alehouse Sunday league yard dog

Snap shot. Lovely precise goal.

Next stage is having a 'task force' to sort it all out.

We need to try and not concede too many.

Alonso might be looking for a job soon

He again was the only one who showed any urgency which in itself is pretty damning.

No point in dragging this on for any longer. You could put the goalkeeping coach in charge and we’d not look any worse.

It was already embarrassing. This is horrific.

Just when you thought we couldn’t get any worse

Wow, this is disgraceful.

Crap header from Gakpo

They have a rare foray into our half and score. Certainly not the first time we’ve conceded like that.

Just look at Wirtz!

It’s down to the coach to get the best out of the players at his disposal. Endo and Gomez etc. were perfectly fine and playing well with Jürgen in charge. Every player has regressed under Slot with maybe the exception of Szoboszlai. I’d fancy both players to be playing regularly in most teams above us (when fit obvs). Slot might talk a good tactical game but he doesn’t seem to have the charisma to motivate the players.
