I didn’t see much of him the previous season but last season he looked good with his kicking - albeit with longer passes out building to an attack rather than the short pointless passes out that we do. We’re not playing to his strengths and we don’t seem to be helping him with the coaching.

Yes but Slot has previously said he hasn’t asked the players to not run and press so something is badly messed up with the setup because the players just aren’t up to playing with intensity.

That would in a large part be down to the fitness coach and nutritionalist (if we still have people in those roles).

There are literally no positives to be taken in how we play or setup. We look knackered, we’re slow, we don’t close the opposition down, we get outrun, we’re injury prone and the tactics are shockingly bad leaving holes all over the place. And WTF is going on with our kick offs getting launched straight out of play? It’s like Slot is trying to out-Arteta Arteta.

The way we’re going we’re going to miss out on the Europa Conference League. Maybe that’s the cunning plan.
