i recall someone mentioning that Riquelme would be a bad option as a second striker... i'm watching him in the Argentina friendly now against Angola and he's class! the heart of the Argentinian offense... to be honest he was great in the Champions League for Villareal (although some blame him for their loss to Arsenal) and every time i've seen him (i've seen him a handful of times) he's always been great... he takes free kicks and has a lot of natural creativity... the only knock i think some may have on him is that he may be lightweight for England... is that the reason? otherwise he'd be a great signing as an alternative to Aimar if Rafa chooses to go that route as a second striker

I think Rafa should given him a chance next year (if his attitude has changed).
