i have no problems with the substitutions, just their timings... robbie had some great crosses and was workin his butt off, but morientes has been so off his game he was never going to take advantage of that service... i think playing kewell up front and putting garcia on the left earlier and taking off moro for cisse would have been better... again we got the goal we needed but we weren't creating anything for too long

put Reina in but play Dudek in more matches against lesser opposition.... he does deserve to play

to be honest, i wasn't impressed that rafa took so long to sub off fowler... he played well but he really lacks fitness... with the form of morientes, even if fowler was playing well it would have been better to sub him off for cisse earlier and have him run hard at the virgins... he would have scared them senseless with his pace if he had been given more time to get in the game... i also thought Morientes should have been subbed rather than Momo, but we got the goal we needed so thats all that matters... i do believe Rafa didn't get the subs right today though

To the thread creator, can't be bothered to look up and find it... he doesn't catch crosses and corners because Rafa thinks its better for him to punch the ball because of the physical nature of the EPL... it's not because he's incapable of it...
