Mancs have already spent over £50m this summer. This would bring their spending up to somewhere near £80m and they still need decent cover/replacement for Neville and a centreback. Don't see that happening.

I agree with that. The BBC only tend to get into the speculation when they are satisfied themselves that there is some real concrete news, not Sky type news whereby they are trying to fill airtime on a 24hr sports news chanel.

Couldn't agree more. I've been watching these threads out of pure amusement. I couldn't give a shiny s**** when I see the plans as we're still years away from actually been in the stadium. My only concern was having no Kop and since that is now to be incorporated into the new stadium I'm happy to wait until the club publishes them. In fact I could quite happily wait until July of next year to see the plans, or just wait until the thing is built. The people so desperate to see them actually make me laugh, particularly the ones trying to use reverse physiology as if they are talking to a bunch of 5 year olds. Anyway, back to the transfer speculation thread where I'm starting to panic quite nicely.

They'll alredy have done all that. Same as releasing the new shirts. The player comments will all have already been written and taped. And possibly faxed.

Fair enough, Obviously I didn't remember your earlier post and was just referring to the last one. It did seem to me though, by that post alone, that you had missed the point. Apologies.

You're totally missing the point. It's not about the idea of a singing section. It's about how they voice their opinions.

Will, I don't think very many are saying it's not a good idea. (I think block 1892 is a great idea) What people are saying is that the way they voice it is extremely poorly judged and is causing a division. Intentionally or not, they are coming across as very anti OOT, and even against locals sitting in other parts of the ground who RTK feel are not contributing to the atmosphere. They are sounding like super fans who will tell us all how we should support a club that was around 80-90 years before they were born. A little bit of thought into their name and how they put across their point could have resulted in something that was roundly applauded and supported by all LFC fans, instead of the resentment that it is causing in a lot of quarters.
