Daily Post saying he will sign today Bellamy in Anfield move talks Jun 21 2006 By Nick Smith Daily Post Staff CRAIG Bellamy is set to fly back to England complete his move to Liverpool today. The Welsh striker will cut short his holiday in Greece after Blackburn Rovers gave him permission to talk to Rafael Benitez. The clubs have agreed on a fee in the region of £6-6.5million for the player, who had a release clause in his Rovers contract that allowed him to leave if a Champions League club matched his valuation. Blackburn's last-ditch attempts to persuade Bellamy to stay and make him their highest ever paid player are set to fail as he homes in on a move to the club he supports. "We have an agreement which allows us to talk to the player," Benitez said. "I know the player's qualities very well. He is a very good footballer and now we need to see if he has the passion to play for our club. "I don't think this will be a problem because he is a Liverpool fan, so I think it will be easy for him."
