  2. And you only rate Duff because he's Irish and a Dub
  3. Where did you see this ? Scratch that. Just seen the the post above.
  4. And the Pennant news story has been taken down from the front page
  5. You could have put Gerrard out there as well. Didn't he play left wing for England ?
  6. Finding the story hard to believe myself. When we recieved permission to talk to Bellamy, the club confirmed it pretty quickly. So far, none of the clubs mentioned have said a thing. I would have expected Chelsea to come out with a statement if they had granted him permission to speak to other clubs. I kind of want it to drag on over the weekend though, just so you have to sweat it out a little more. Ideally, I will hear confirmation that he has signed as I walk away from Semple Stadium on Saturday night, looking forward to another semi-final
  7. I think his advisor used to do a bit of scouting for us in the old days, so that could be another factor in our favour.
  8. Worried are we ?
  9. He's said in the past that he doesn't mind playing on the right or up front, so that won't be a problem. If it's a straight choice between us, Spurs and the Barcodes then I can't see him going anywhere but here.
  10. Nothing on sky website yet.
  11. Threw him out or watched him walk out ?
  12. In the squad list on the offal Anderson is number 26.

    Alves

For readers that actually want to be informed, I would have thought that it's bad to see
  14. Parry commenting on Merida and Granero in the Echo:. Mr Parry confirmed "we are aware of both players" but said that reports claiming they were on their way to Anfield were "wide of the mark." And on Pennant: Reds chief executive Rick Parry confirmed today: "We have not made a bid for Jermaine Pennant," but he added that the Reds were continuing to monitor his situation. Echo article
  15. I think he'll do well up in Newcastle if he goes there. He is still a class player and the injury thing has been blown out of proportion. Still think he could do a job for us on the right and the £10m price isn't outrageous for a player like Duff. At 27 he has at least 4 good years ahead of him.
  16. We are seeded, so I think we automatically get to play the second leg at home.

    Alves

    Great episode.
  18. How old is this player ? 18 ? He would have been born in '88 and probably started supporting a team around '95 or '96. Around this time Chelsea, the team he has "dreamed about all his life" were finishing 14th, 11th, 11th in the Premiership. I'm sure a young African kid would be "dreaming" of Chelsea at that time f***ing delusional, the person that wrote that blog.

    PTS

Ok. Still nothing taken from my credit card so I could be in trouble
  20. On the issue of Cannavaro's injuries, does anyone remember the scandal from two years ago when the Juve players were pictured with syringes in their arms ? Was Cannavaro one of them ?

    PTS

Are you all talking about the letter you get giving you the "opportunity" to purchase a PTS. Or is this a confirmation letter ?

Nice one. There's still hope so
  23. Osasuna keen on Pongolle By Patrick Haond - Created on 19 Jul 2006 Reports emanating from the French press are linking Florent Sinama-Pongolle with a move to Osasuna. The Spanish outfit are eager to pep-up their forward line for next season and would be a tempting prospect for Sinama-Pongolle considering last season's exploits. A fine campaign saw Osasuna secure fourth spot in La Liga and in the process claim unprecedented UEFA Champions League football for next season. Sinama-Pongolle enjoyed a sojourn at Blackburn last term, but only on loan, but it now seems more likely that a permanent departure will be struck in the close-season. Both Liverpool and the player are eager to make the switch permanent but Osasuna, like Blackburn, are more likely to be keen to secure a loan deal. It has been reported that Osasuna have already put forward this proposal but it seems Sinama-Pongolle will wait to see if he has any suitors who are willing to sign him on a permanent basis, before making any decisions on his future Sky sports

    Bellamy

Love the bit where he says "you have to be a special player to wear the number nine at Goodison." Yeah, like Drunken was a special player ?
  25. He made 39 appearences for Chelsea last season. what makes you think he will only play 15 times for Spurs ?
