Slightly sad feeling watching those 2 today, wishing they were 5 years younger. Both brilliant players.

    Exactly. What a prick
  3. So he uses the phrase I apologise and the headline manages to use inverted commas to suggest it is somehow insincere?
  4. A few big names have gone back to help out after they were relegated, it's quite the thing to do this year

  7. A genuine title challenge. Don't kid yourself, ES. We were nearer when you were spitting bile at Benitez every spare minute of the day.
  8. And then he gets MoM We are miles away, though. Case is right. Bigger things than a game of football on our minds tonight. It could be a long road back from where corruption has put us.
  9. The point is that he won't be there that much longer, and if further down the line evidence does come out (like it has in Italy and elsewhere, and if it's there you'd have to believe it will eventually come to light) then all their achievements will count for nothing, like Juve's titles. I know I'm a red, but I just can't see this any other way than a set up. There is not one shred of evidence been presented which you could say marks the guy as a racist without serious doubt.
  10. I'm an immigrant worker (uk citizen in Denmark) and no one saw fit to issue me a list of offensive terms in my contract despite the fact I've been known to use the phrase 'bad ted' to colleagues. I can only presume that Mr. barclay has never worked as a migrant, and therefore question his authority on this subject.

  13. Thought it was fairly similar to the game at ours, and therefore a concern for Mancini, in that they looked ridiculously good for the first 15-20, got the goal, could have had a few - and a nailed on pen in front of the ref - but afterwards the home side came back into it, regained parity by half time and battered them for the majority of the second half. City didn't look like they had the will to raise their game once Chelsea started to get their confidence back.
  14. He never was!

  16. Resolutely setting their ambition as midtable then
  17. Thanks a lot for this one. Good find, and great reminder for some of the young'uns around the place about the quality of some older players, like Heighway.
  18. Must be good sitting in a dressing room full of proper professionals, eh Fernando?
  19. I agree with you, a very tough place to learn your craft Vickery hasn't called it that way. He said he doubted that Chelsea had made a decent investment in Luiz all along, and that Thiago Silva is the focal point of their back line these days.
  20. In all honesty Torres might as well just move in with Rafa and chill until he gets another job
  21. Will become a very good player

    Kenny

With Adam at the heart of it
  23. lot of fingers crossed here
  24. Except last match we did respond, by bringing on Henderson
  25. Regardless of the result I think there is plenty of evidence that we are becoming a good football team recently
