Kierrison has been on loan and failed to impress. He hasn't really come on like people hoped he would. A classic example of someone looking good at u17 level but looking really ordinary when stepping up.

tend to agree with this, becuase if you look at what we have now we have the resources for a 433, with kuyt joining suarez and carroll up top, and no wingers to speak of, yet despite this we have lined up roughly 442 the last few games.

Having seen him a few times now I can say I cannot believe how swiftly his performances have banished the Torres blues. He is a cracking player based on the evidence so far, and hungry. Great combination.

Delighted with that. Best defensive performance in an age, Agger looked very composed with and without the ball and the Scrote had a game where he headed pretty much everything aay from danger. Spearing and Lucas rarely troubled in the middle. Suarez looks an absolute gem. He is like a brilliant version of Craig Bellamy with a proper neck. Shame about AC's header.
