  3. Ah Jaysus-how long more is Enrique out for? Just seen this BR quote..... “Aly Cissokho came in here as a cover player, to support Enrique. Unfortunately Jose is still a few weeks away from training. Aly has done his best and performed to the best of his capabilities. But it’s never easy - different football, culture, environment." Cissokho left, flanno right?

  15. Meanwhile In ireland... A Dublin footballer accused of biting an opponent is to appeal a three-match suspension. Although the Dublin player's identity has yet to be made public, the Irish Times have named him today as right corner back Kevin O'Brien. The punishment has been proposed for the footballer who is alleged to have bitten Donegal's Paddy McBrearty during the sides' Allianz League match in Ballybofey on Sunday, April 7. The first-half incident, which was not seen by the match officials on the day, was investigated by the GAA's Central Competitions Controls Committee who ruled that it is a category III offence. Donegal officials had brought their claims to referee Padraig Hughes and substitute referee Michael Duffy, who replaced the injured Hughes, and details of the allegations were included in the referees' reports. This prompted the CCCC investigation into the incident that occurred during the drawn game, the result of which confirmed Donegal's relegation to Division 2. Dublin County Board Chairman Andy Kettle told the Irish Examiner: "The situation now is that it is up to the player, not the County Board, to decide what he wishes to do and the player has decided that he wishes to appeal. "The suspension has been proposed so that is where it rests now. It's going through the disciplinary procedure now so I won't be discussing the actual case. "There's a process there now and Dublin will be adhering to that." The appeal hearing is due to take place before Sunday week's Allianz League final between Dublin and Tyrone. McBrearty was treated at half-time by Donegal medics for a laceration of his shoulder. After the game, he was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he received a tetanus shot and was prescribed a course of antibiotics. If the suspension stands, the banned player will miss the Tyrone game and Dublin's opening two matches of the 2013 Championship.
