The guy has had a hell of a 2023 and he’s kickstarted 2024 in the same fashion…..unfortunately there is somewhat of a downside attached. He’s finally capturing the attention of a certain Mr Southgate and an England call up in the next few months is looking inevitable.

Looks far better and comfortable on the wing where he's involved in a lot more of the build up than he is centrally or in midfield where he looks a bit isolated/lost. I'd keep him on the right for now, with Nunez and Jota interchanging the LW/CF positions depending on what teams we come up against.

The kick off taker, it is quite mad how winning a pen isn't technically classed as an assist but something like a 5 yard sideways pass and then the receiver scoring a 60 yarder from their own half is registered. Is it what it is, football has some strange laws. We can take away his assist for Jones but award him the assist for the pen he won against Fulham when beat them 1-0 at Anfield last season. This is also true, more than you might think actually. Scoring a penalty or directly from a set piece goes down as a no assist (they should really grant the whoever won the pen/free kick that led to the goal the assist)....as does the opponent gifting you a goal like Jota against Soton when Lavia played it across to him.

Another frustrating game from the Grav, none of the midfield were particularly good (Harvey included) until the double subs but I lost count how many times he ended up losing the ball or turning into trouble, and what’s even more frustrating is he’s clearly capable of producing brilliant moments such as the effort he had which just flashed wide.
