The 2 aren’t mutually exclusive, I’m aware of the greats we’ve had but with every great as we all know, come along 2-3 absolute stinkers and since the argument was where Nunez ranks with the worst of them, my focus was drawn to bringing up the names of the turds that have played for this great club. With that said, in a general discussion with our forwards as a whole over the 40 years then we very much see it in the same light.

He managed that many??? That's quite impressive actually. Nunez will be here for another 4-5 years. He'll easily score 15-20 goals in each of those seasons & that's if he doesn't improve his finishing and continues to have no luck in front of goal. He'll not only get more than Heskey, but also Suarez, Torres, Sturridge & no before anyone asks this isn't me making any point that he suddenly becomes a better goal scorer than any of them or anything like that.

Wouldn't have been the hardest line up to predict if it is indeed right.

Apparently so but it's the prime reason why I don't include players that have played like 2 games, because no one can remember a f***ing thing. Whereas someone like Lambert gave us torture for a WHOLE season.

Against other wingers in the past, Rashford Martinelli Zaha Harrison Mcneil Ogbene the list is endless. If he cant or is unwilling to stand up tall and put more of an effort to stop them then stick him in midfield and start Gomez. We don’t have that workhorse type midfielder like Hendo or Gini anymore to cover the space he always vacated. Martinelli didn’t have much of the ball or time on the pitch and still breezed past Trent twice as if he wasn’t there. Trent has always been praised with what he can do in the final third with his passing ability, he’s not known and never will be known for his defensive stability.

Would like to see Bradley get a start after his cameo last time out, Gomez can continue to surprise us (in a good way of course) at LB. Maybe Klopp will be a planned sub lined up, Beck for Gomez on the hour mark or something like that. It's unlikely but could also see a scenario where Jones plays the inverted role, a bit like he did against Leicester I think he was.

Lambert is by far and away the worst and probably least talented player I've seen play for the club. The number of below par/terrible strikers we've had over the last few decades is beyond belief. Benteke Lambert Balotelli Carroll Borini Keane N'gog Baros Morientes Voronin probably missing a few in there aswell. & yes Darwin is easily better than them all (if you take all their times at Liverpool only), if Darwin's finishing was between average and slightly above average, his name would be alongside the Torres and Sturridge of this world. I feel ya I do. I have the utmost faith that Darwin will delivery that day for you......on Sunday the 21st January, mark it down in your fantasy football calendar!!

Whether it be fans on twitter, forums, or in and around the ground....I can easily visualise they'd be thousands voicing their disapproval quite angrily, for me it'd be on the same scale as when the club tried to drive ticket prices right up or join the ESL as it'd been seen as deja vu. That type of backlash.

Smart move, it would confirm the legitimacy and trustworthiness of what I'm saying. Also, it's just a resell....doesn't need to be any "tidy sum" involved. Your ticket for the game is about £30-40 quid, stick a tenner on top to account for the service fee and job done.

I really hope we can sustain the consistency of results we've had through the 2nd half of the season knowing in advance all the injuries we're bound to suffer and win a trophy or 2. The backlash against the club would be off the scale if not. Missed opportunity after missed opportunity. Once the window slams shut in our nervous looking faces, that's it. No turning back.

Pleasing cameo indeed which he can hopefully build on tonight, young Brad showed he has intelligent defensive acumen, well beyond his years. When defending 1 on 1, a fullbacks starting position is very important and made Martinelli think twice about trying to dribble past him.

Many people’s experience to this day would say otherwise including myself so I know what I’m talking about and don’t worry I’ve never dug myself a hole I haven’t managed to get out of. Alhamdullilah.

It was undeniably the right one, the FA are the middle men in these situations....they are helpless to stop a club appealing or influencing the decision and once an appeal is submitted it's taken up directly with an independent arbitration who have no ties at all to PGMOL, Webb or his gang of goons. They barely even have any ties with the FA other than to communicate back the verdict.

Neither here nor there, though I do believe from personal experience there is some good that comes with it if used correctly. Oh and don't believe for a second the football clubs aren't involved with touting, because they are.
