Having a personal opinion on who we should buy, actaully buying players they want and Rafa doesn't, not going through with promises, backing players over the manager, bringing in a Technical Director, any of the above really. Basically, the way Valenica was run that caused him to leave there.

BUT, playing devils advocate, say we keep Rafa but Morgan/A.N.Other comes in and runs the club in an anti-Rafa way? Thereby we lose both within a year?

OK, I'll try If Rafa does not get the money he requires, he'll leave? And so, is this the most important thing? If we have the money, we should give it to him, yes. If we don't have the money, without the investment (I know, forget the investment! ) I can't see how we can give it to him!

What the hell happened there in the end? Weren't there murmurings that it was all made up and Djibs was suing, or was that just posturing from a guilty man? Oh, and congrats Djibs! Get him playing with a tennis ball ASAP, can bludgeon a touch into him if we work hard enough ;-)

The only thing that matters in what context? For the future of the club? No, I don't believe anyone should be kept a) if they don't want to be here and b) they are made out to be more important than the club. Same arguement as when Stevie was going, though on a more significant scale I'll concede.

I think everyone hopes he's right! Investment on some scale (more than Granada) would give us that boost we need to a) keep rafa and b) chase down Chelsea and Man U IMO. Am ambivalent on the stadium, though if we get a significant deal with regards to sponsorship, maybe it could be improved from the original plans? or are they set in stone. Something.....underwhelming about the plans I've seen, maybe it's just "Not Anfield" syndrome.

C'mon Kev, get it off your chest. You'll feel SO much better, honest! Though he definitely said Simao was overpriced at £12m. Maybe he's covering for lack of funds, maybe he honestly think's its too much. I'd like to see his philosophy on player's worth tested if he had Abramovitch-style money behind him!

Surely Rafa will have known what we had before signing on here? So either a) he's got it and wants more now or b) he's been lied to about how much he really had. If a) what's changed from his denials that we needed loads of money? Has "realism" set in, has he changed his mind on a few players he has and now thinks they need replacing also? If b) there's 2 simple solutions - he either gets the money or doesn't. I do find it odd these stories pop up after bad results and the potential for a bad result on Wednesday.

Absolutely. Cheyrou, TLT and FSP's treatment by GH, even to an extent Baros, baffled me. And I was/am a huge GH fan.
