He would look so good in the best Klopp teams and he'd be better than currently in any Klopp team. I'd say there are maybe Mo (of yore), Allison, Isak (of last season), Hugo and VVD at his level in the current squad.

TLDR: Klopp and his team were ace, Slot and his team are s***.

Jaros is very highly rated as well isn't he? Not seen too much wrong with Marma and he was excellent at Valencia and for Georgia. Allison's a hard act to follow though. I liked Kelleher but a) he had plenty of ricks in his and b) he wanted to get games. In hindsight, he'd have got games here but fair play to him to think he wants to be guaranteed #1 rather than Allison's backup.

Agreed. From spending a record amount to worrying about relegation. Squad is appalling (for a non-Klopp manager to get a tune from) once you get past the first XI and that's just been shown to be unable to compete with the best.

We need more additions on top of that. The churn is way too high, just look at Chelsea this year. A disjointed mess. I'm f***ing furious with FSG. The succession planning on and off the pitch has been atrocious.

Think we're just spoilt with Ali.
