  1. Oh no, I was referring to his penchant for long stares in the mirror
  2. f***ing hell, Dicky monitoring himself! £120m minimum.
  3. Aha! No chance then, Dicky doesn't believe in them. Says they're "modern day fairy tales" and "woke AI hallucinations".
  4. Is he any good or we at the stage of anyone with a right foot will do?
  5. It's a good standard place to start but have they done anything specific recently? Given they're expected to get The Prick Fernandez at £120m+, I can't see them getting to the fee we'd want for Gakpo. Reckon their "interest" is just us pushing Spurs.
  6. He'll be available in a season when City get bored
  7. He's a good PL defender who struggles in the air, so it always baffles me people thought he would solve our Konate head loss problem. Plus he's a homophobic prick but I know we've got a few baddies on our team already.
  8. f*** you! Think like I do!
  9. Last season, yeah. Konate's ceiling is much higher. Also I don't think Guehi over Konate last season makes much difference.
  10. I don't know on Guehi. Last year was a write off whoever we had at CB and I'd rather be getting Jacquet and Leoni game time now rather than having Guehi missing aerial challenges for us.
  11. Real Madrid (A) Arsenal (A) City (A) Utd (A) CSKA Moscow (A) Iran (A) probably
  12. TAA on the bench along with Diomande. Hope it continues to work out for you both.
  13. New from The Athletic (James Tryard). A few interesting tidbits on Hughes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you walk into Richard Hughes' Kirkby office, you're struck by two things. One, an irresistible waft of Dior Sauvage which permeates every cubic millimetre of the space. Two, the fact that he's not there. Colleagues of Hughes, speaking on condition of anonymity to protect their identity, have spoken glowingly about Hughes' uncanny ability to disappear during critical moments, enabling the previous previous season's champions to ignore bids for their valued players. "The first season he was here was astonishing - Dicky just disappeared. His genius is that he doesn't tell people where he's going, he's just gone. In hindsight, it was a bit weird that summer that we did get people from Al-Hilal answering his mobile sometimes but we assumed he was just doing some big deal." Since his appointment and Michael "Mickey" Edward's return, Liverpool have led the way, again, on genius analysis of the state of the game. Where once a nice balance of defensive and attacking players was seen as the way to succeed, colleagues spoke rapturously about Hughes' and Edwards' foresight. "Dicky and Micky first identified that the game had moved on way before anyone else. Two seasons ago they zeroed in on the idea that transfers were very 2018 and we just didn't need them. Year after, he was again at the pinnacle of the game, identifying players through Ultimate Team and just.....buying them! [At this point, Richard laughs out loud for a solid 5 minutes]. Since then the football cycle has moved on and now no-one uses midfielders anymore. Dicky has done amazingly in resisting the urge to have any kind of midfielder or even full-backs. It's all just wingers now, in practically every position." When Richard finally packs up his aromatic office and jets to Saudi at the end of this window, he'll leave behind a legacy of status quo smashing, trail-blazing and a ruined, imbalanced squad sacrificed on the altar of his ego. But colleagues, fans and players alike will remember him fondly. "To be fair, he's a great boss. When he is here he just asks us who we've got on the wing in our Football Manager games. It was dead funny actually when he tried to sign a regen off Bournemouth and they sent along that YTS kid! Then we all just head off for lunch about 11am and he's not fussy about people going back to the office." Richard Hughes. The man. The legend.
  14. Can you imagine a tour with smithdown as your guide. Be mad but good.
  15. Get Jurgen back. He's the only DoF I'd trust. Not sure he'd want the job like.
  16. He is but f***ing hell do we even have scouts or do we just ring up people like Cobs and Macca who watch every game?
  17. Can't we all, honourablegeorge. Can't we all.
  18. "The football hierarchy, led by Richard Hughes, know the squad just has to be bigger. It’s an absolute priority...." Why has it not been a priority the entire time you've been here but now it suddenly is, Dicky? You absolute f***ing fraud.
  19. Wow, shots fired (as the youth say)
  20. I mean on Barcola, at the moment. *punches wall*
  21. Ornstein knows f*** all doesn't he! Literal space filling copy
  22. What do you want from me?
  23. I'd love to see the PSR workings on Arsenal's business the last few years.
  24. I think before/during Ashworth there was also Alan Carr's Dad who was rated highly as a scout.
  25. Ashworth wasnt it?
