I don’t think we’ve quite adjusted to how good Arsenal are in our minds. We’re really good and it’s Anfield so without question, we have to be looking to win. They’re a really good side though. Last year wasn’t a fluke. They were building to that and they’ve carried on. I’m worried that after his top performance at Anfield last year, we walk away from tomorrow’s game asking who we have to compete with Rice.

Showed the level he could hit in that Porto away game a couple of years back. Deffo worth coaxing him into producing that more often. We drew one game. I’m not saying we’re perfect but the aggregate of all the posts is genuinely that we have about 3 maybe 4 good players. This team has to bed in and they have done so so well in that process. Apart from maybe getting a 6 (although Endo was good yesterday and Klopp might be redefining midfield) the issues are training ground and time related. The league is absolutely there to be won and they’re going for it but it might just be too soon for them.

Yeah. It’s still annoying me this morning but we know we aren’t there as a team yet. We’ve got in a fantastic position to use. I would have loved to have piled more misery into Man Utd but being realistic if this is their moment v us after everything we have done to them recently, then I’m going to have to ask myself exactly what level of eternal victory is actually ever going to make me happy.
