I just really like the way he is going about his business recently. All set up for him to be at fault for stuff but he is just nailing it currently.

I know people will have other examples as they’ll watch more than me but I have seen Xavi and Iniesta work, De Bruyne and Silva and Modric and Kroos. Outside of that just can’t think of that many examples of two attackers really working in a 3 man midfield.

I really like him. More than his body does unfortunately. When he’s on it he is fantastic. It was playing full back at Turf Moor which brought to an end a spell where he was the second best CB in the league. That and Jarg’s f***ing countdown that followed.

Nothing will even that Diaz goal being given but not registered but Trent should have been sent off v Newcastle and Konate against Everton, Nunez should have got the second v Sheff Utd disallowed. Aw c’mon. He’s been brilliant in some games. There’s loads there. He’s not really done it for a spell but he has impressive gifts.

I agree, he makes the team worse if he plays now but he’s only 21. On him and Dom, the only person I have seen make two attacking midfielders in a 3 work consistently at a high level is Guardiola so it might be a challenge. Their ceilings are outrageous though and they are both kids so if it comes off then it’s fireworks for the next few years.

He sucked today and has not been good recently but just give it time. He and this team have a lot to learn but loads of ability and an amazing attitude.

I was gonna make some Neville not having The Right Stuff which belied the fact that I made my mum take me to one of their concerts and had all their songs and videos, but it would just be me that got it.
