Is correct, he also couldn't score away from home. He was a decent support act but it's very selective memory to make out he was great. If he can continue putting performances in like the first half yesterday than he can be a real asset and fair play to him for getting his head right after his move fell through. I don't think he'll have a long term future here under Iraola though

No one thinks Trent is great at defending. Klopp bigs up all his players but was clearly aware of the gaps the set up caused. Multiple other top class managers have also showed they don't think hos defensive issues are worth enduring for the creative elements he brings. He was great for as we were willing to set the team up to get the best out of him, and it worked brilliantly. Doesn't make him good at defending though, he's not

Yes it was the lack of resting players towards the end of games that was frustrating. We had players more that'll capable of saving the first choice player's legs. The lack of playing time for Rio stood out as the most frustrating, particularly with Gakpo being so poor...that sub always came too late. I take Contad's point to a degree. I remember loads of calls for Chiesa to start when he clearly wasn't fit to do so. I'd given Ramsey some mins to see if he could do a job rather than see Curtis struggle there, but looks like he wasn't up to it.

It's a shame, he looked like had attacking potential when he arrived, but his delivery is poor and I can't remember the last time he knocked it past someone and burned them for pace, which he should be capable of. Defensively he's a problem. Targeted by the opposition on long balls and easy to beat physically

I think the sad reality is that we've got a group of good players, totally unsuited to forming a great side as someone mentioned earlier. And we've got no elite players who can regularly dig us out of a hole,which we'd become used to. Isak and Wirtz are supposed to be that, but they're not

Agree. I get the thinking behind getting Wirtz in to replace Dom as a 10 but it's not working without different midfielders behind him. I'd give Dom a go on the right if we could get another midfielders in to give us balance but ultimately think it's one of the two

Dom's a talented player, but he's school yard kick and rush. Not a cm for us

We need to find a way to get Dom in the team that isn't as a centre midfielder, we need control there,we can't carry him and Witrz. Thought Wirtz looked sharp Munoz is raw and direct but great feet for the goal. The biggest positive was we didn't look knackered after 60 mins. Isak a worry, Gakpo great for his goal but hope we sell him. Nyoni brought a bit of control that we really lack Ref was s***, there'll be no similar pens all season. We're in a battle for top 5, so dropped points aren't as important as previous years .
