    Absolutely f*** off

This is mainly a midfield issue,so easy to play through, and we're also easily cut open by one long pass. Unlucky for the disallowed goal but we've done sod all. Front three poor again, at least Wirtz has looked good with the little he's had the ball
  3. Begbie
Looked like Grav got a knock vs Newcastle, but played through it and is on the bench so can't be that bad
  4. Begbie
Get rid of Gakpo if we can decent cash to use elsewhere. We've got 3 options for the left now. I'm wouldn't mind Mateta as back up if we can get him cheap, and get a midfielder and right sided player in

Me too, tried it a couple of years ago..it's vile, yellow sugar. What's that all about? Up the reds
  6. Begbie
    He's really good
  7. Begbie
Phew. Hopefully this triggers additional movement now we've sorted our highest value transfer Haven't seen that much of him but he looked exciting at the WC
  8. Begbie
I'd be fine in principle if he was a bench/rotation option, but given the daft contract we've given him and where the market is it feels opportunistic to sell. As long as we do get Barcola and use the cash for a right winger and midfielder

Gakpo's not good enough and we need a faster player with more to his game than Gakpo's one dimensional play. Pretty much everyone wanted him sold and replaced this summer. Few people wavering after one good goal. We just need the replacement to be very good
  10. Begbie
I've gone from being unsure about Barcola to desperate to sign him, we need pace out wide Desperately need a midfielder and someone who can play as a striker as well. I've given up on right back
  11. Begbie
Then we have a stronger squad, which would be great. Having 3 strikers or 3 right backs isn't an issue and if those 2 come back and can stay fit we can sell players who aren't playing enough
  12. Begbie
    Not surprised. It's lost momentum
  13. Begbie
I get that aelling to our rivals isn't normally a thing. But selling Gakpo to City for loads of cash would be amazing I hope we sell Chiesa to Arsenal next
  14. Begbie
Yep and hopefully by then we'll have a new option from the bench. Hopefully...
  15. Begbie
No point in loaning him, we'd be better off keeping him as a bench option if we can't sell him. Low wages and has proven he can impact games
  16. Begbie
Felt sorry sor him yesterday, he should be brought into the tean slowly and looks more suited to the left Often looked our most dangerous forward last season and looked more of a threat than Gakpo, but he shouldn't be starting at St James's park out of position
  17. Begbie
Yep, amongst the many problems we have this is the biggest...and no back up striker We're in a battle for top 5, so in that context a point away at Newcastle is OK. Just a bit depressing
  18. Begbie
Did a few decent things today, but never imposed himself and doesn't do enough to offset how open he leaves us
  19. Begbie
Buy a midfielder, 2 wingers and a striker
  20. Begbie
Great penalty, well some Munoz Lots of problems
  21. Begbie
    Bloody hell Isak
  22. Begbie
    Left foot Gakpo. FFS
  23. Begbie
    Ran straight through us again
  24. Begbie
    What a hit! Get in
  25. Begbie
I'd put Dom on the right, this midfield pair has no balance. Get Mac on for one of the wide players How have we not got another striker?
