Front 3 have been useless. And we don't even seem to be thinking about getting a back up for Isak

Harsh yellows Wide players both struggling, hardly a surprise

Grav did so well to get the chance then terrible decision making Can't be walked through like that though

They didn't look very good. Annoying late winner

Yes telling bench that unless Harvey or Chiesa are injured Who's Newcastle's keeper? Their midfield looks light, pace wide though

Their starting line up looks poor. Nothing up front

Same as the proper game vs Como then? One of Jacquet or Araujo wotb Virg and Rio right. Not really much choice

Chelsea do seem the most likely. Perhaps if he could oust James he could achieve his ambition of winning the Ballon D"or... And yes, poor Trent. Can't get in the Real or England team and feeling glum...unlucky mate

I honestly don't know where he'd go. Only really got Chelsea or Cuty here abd plenty of reasons not to go to either. Maybe Bayern or PSG if they were replacing Hakim.. Not many clubs could afford hos wages and most too class managers don't seem to rate him

Haha I love football

Come on Hull. Terriers or whatever you are I was in the hospitality seats, such that they were, for the game when that woman asked Kuyt for an autograph...when he was on the bench Great days

I'm warming to the idea of getting a midfielder in who gives us better balance and shifting Dom right. We need a midfielder anyway and options for the right seem limited

I think that's what should happen, but our lack of options on the right seem likely to mean he's starting more regularly.

Yeah agree, that's what it feels like. Last minute realisation that we desperately need wide players vs an established plan. Looks like we'll have Barcola and Rio on the wings with Minteh in contention when fit. Munoz and Gakpo rotating with the latter our Isak cover. It's not great and still needs some work to get there

Spurs are mad. Wonder what they'd give us for Gakpo? Seems like a great chance for us to get him off the wage bill, but we need to get players in, which is looking difficult. I'm in the underwhelmed camp re Mintah. We're going to be too dependent on Rio, good as he looks

I wish we'd signed Gordon. He'd solve so many of our issues and can play across the forward line

It's a season of transition for me, we need to make sure we get into the CL though...injuries and a small squad will make that a real risk. I'm hopeful that he can sort something out re our midfield as the quality is there. It will be fun to see our team running and playing with intensity again

I'm also a bit more comfortable with the defence now we've got Araujo and Jacquet is fit. Right back remains a concern Isak cover remains my biggest issue up front, we haven't got any and don't appear to be doing anything about it. Agree re Mama

Roll on the new season, looking forward to focus on football and not transfers. Looking forward to the season despite having very low expectations. Hoping we see the benefits of some decent coaching and some kids breaking into the squad

Top 5 1. Arsenal - by default, comfortably the best squad 2. City 3. Liverpool 4. Chelsea 5. Mancs Bottom 3 18. Ipswich 19. Coventry 20. Hull Champions League Winners - PSG UEFA Cup Winners - Milan FA cup winners - Chelsea League Cup WInners - City PL Top goalscorer - Haaland 1st Manager sacked - Farke Promoted from the Championship West Ham, Burnley, Wolves

Gakpo isn't good enough and should be sold if we get a decent offer. Could also be our last chance to get decent money for him, particularly given his daft new contract Getting a replacement is a different concern, and a valid one

There's been so much else to worry about with the lack of signings that I'd kind of forgotten about the Wirtz problem. Hopefully the new boss has a plan as it loos as lf Wirtz will play 10, and our midfield can't carry him if he plays like last season

How's Araujo getting on? Having competition for places in a position would be utopia

Ramsey could turn out to be the hero in all this..

Yep, he deserved more minutes last season and I'm looking forward to seeing him play more this season. But he should be eased in, which currently feels unlikely given our transfer incompetence
