I’ve not done OT but have plenty of other. West Ham and Chelsea weren’t so pleasant. Had to leave West Ham as I couldn’t help unleashed a volley of abuse at a West Ham tackle on one of ours (in the 80’s) then realized I was the only one shouting out…. Plenty of happy hammers looking at me. Luckily I was near an exit… Chelsea wasn’t so much fun in the 80’s – bit easier to get away with it now. Worst I felt was back in the early 90’s. Mate of mine was a Forest fan and said he’d get us tickets near his brother. Seats in the main stand. So I turned up in my Liverpool top and a very light jacket as it was a very nice sunny day in August. Turns out his brother got us tickets in the away end. Except that season they ripped down the old home end and the home standing tickets now had all the old away end. SO I ended up in there wearing my LFC top. The only one in with 3,000 forest fans who hadn’t thrown anyone in the river for 4 months. Still not sure how I got out of there without having to swim or even take a good slapping. OT -nah – that I couldn’t do.

Umm – 93rd minute after a fantastic bit of play from Liverpool Cahill jumps in against gerrard and misses but breaks his legs on Fellini who was also attempting a mugging. Plays carrys on as Liverpool have the advantage.. gerrard pings in a fantastic cross, met by kuyt – off the bar.. back to Torres who does a bicycle kick back towards the goal – saved by Howard.. Howard sees Cahill injured so he trys to kick the ball out but instead smacks it into the refs head and the ball rebounds straight into the net.. Whistle goes.. end of game.
