I doubt if he’s doing it. The insurance company that is covering his wages may do that to try to recover something and they probably have the right to do that in his name. There’s also a dispute on how far back the injury occurred as he made a comeback from his original injury.

The owners don’t give 2 hoots about the fans feelings. You must be able to see that by now. The opinions of the manager and the fans have absolutely no bearing on their actions at all. They are only interested in the money. Benitez leaves – get another manager. Some fans stop going – get some more warm bodies in through the door. If you think that Rafa critizing them will make any difference to them owning the club is –at best – a bizarre notion. I think the only reason that you are linking Rafa speaking out to the owners leaving is that you believe it will lead to more people supporting your odd view that Rafa needs to go. If Rafa goes then we’ll end up with either a yes man as a manager – to the same owners. Or a glory boy to boost the owners ego. Either would be a disaster for the club and you are actively voicing that train of thought.
