The one thing I really like about Kraft is that he is very good at keeping out of the sporting side of things. He'll pick a manager to run the team and let them do it. Both the Patriots and the revolution managers have been there for years and been sucessful. He gets on with providing the facilities and building the infrastructure to maximise the earnings on and off the pitch - exactly what we need. I have no idea if he has the financial depth to be involved with Liverpool.

Stop this now. I keep finding myself agreeing with you and I don't like it. not as convinced about Lucas as you are though.

Of course Tompkins has an agenda. However I’d rather read something with depth on Liverpool and acknowledge the angenda and bias from which it is written – hopefully enabling me to take the ego out of it and get to the facts than I would read a piece on Rafa from Martin Samuel. Take the ego and agenda out of a Samuel piece and you end up with nothing. Same goes for a lot of the stuff written about Liverpool. It done to fill column inches. PT actually sent a lot of time on this piece and got a lot more access than others have a chance or can be bothered to do. I can look past his style (which I think is OK) and get a fair bit out of that article.
