  1. This is a shocking performance so far from England!!!!!!! AWFUL! Terry just had to clear off the line. Can't believe its the same players out there we see week in, week out in the Premiership.
  2. Again, Erikkson sets up England to play a rigid, solid and defensive mentality into his team. England's only two options so far have either been lumping it to Crouch or taking a pop from 25 yards out. With the calibre of players on the pitch, this England team should be playing much better football. Haven't seen one decent move yet, where the players are running off the ball, passing it, in a flowing move. Erikkson would be better off managing Italy.
  3. Strange game, England have dominated, but they have not controlled it apart from the first 15 mins. Defensively they have looked shaky, Neville and Cole have had ok games but obviously lack match fitness. Lampard has been England's worst player, hardly in the game and Gerrard is carrying the centre of midfield at the moment.
  4. Lampard is non-existent, Gerrard been running the show. Haven't seen him on the ball for the past 15mins.
  5. It doesn't end there...... Rafa shows the players how it is done. Rafa
  6. Names that come to mind: Rush Neal Best Cantona and one that some people have missed out.............Gerrard! Didn't go in 98, got injured in 02, so this is Gerrard's first World Cup.
  7. It is actually more than £268million since this value does not include the transfer fees of Shevchenko and Mikel. Add another £46million to that value. Total outlay under Abramovich: £314.45million.

    Parade

Sky News now in Liverpool, they showing the whole parade channel 501!!
  11. Will that be the 11th time in the past two years? If so I can't remember a team Liverpool played so often in such a short space of time.
  12. Well his wife will certainly be more happy tonight, Rafa is going have to buy her another watch!
  13. West Ham didn't play well, it was us who played terrible. Two of their goals were gifted and the third was a total fluke. We scored three class goals, overall we deserved to win. Also Gerrard, what a screamer for the equaliser!
  14. DIRTY LEEDS!!!! I see they are living up to reputation of their teams of the past.
  15. Agree, I think Spurs are not as good as the table has made them out to be. Spurs only played 40games this season, the shortest possible season you can have, gave them a significant advantage over Arsenal but still ended up blowing 4th place.
  16. Time for a cheeky bid? 2nd highest goalscorer in the Premier league this season. Personally can't believe how the Mancs have treated him recently, by far one of their best players. Would be ideal to repair the strikers situation at Liverpool.
  17. Preferably Preston but I do not want Palace coming up. They seem to always get good results against us and Selhurst Park is a dump of a ground! No Thank you!
  18. Thats it!!! FT Game on!!! woohooo! What a shocker though......0-0 against Sunderland and now 0-0 against Boro at home.
  19. Into stoppages......and there is 4mins!
  20. Poor game, the Mancs haven't turned up yet and they are there for the taking tonight. Just a shame Boro put out such a weakened side, fancy their chances tonight based on what I have seen so far. Just have to settle for the draw then.
  21. I still think you will get 2nd, well hope you do because up until recently you were 8 points clear of us. Can't be having that lead overturned can we?
  22. Did well didn't he? From the time he took over till now Harry "Houdini" Redknapp took Portsmouth from a mighty 18th place to a staggering 17th position! Certainly the work of a magician eh? I'm sure any other manager with the resources and money he was given when he came in would of pulled it off just as easily.

    Sex on Legs!

That was a class goal from Morientes, thats the type of thing we have been missing from him all season. Just a shame its come too little too late for him.
  24. Chelsea's spending since Abramovich arrived... 2003/04 £153.45million 2004/05 £56.85million 2005/06 £53.4million Total: £263.7million, a quarter of a billion pounds in the space of three seasons! Just to put that into perspective, GH during his tenure at Anfield spent "only" £126million, just under half that value over 6yrs. Chelsea have spent more than double what GH did in half the time.
