Always been a huge fan since he socred against In-Ger-Land in 98

Maybe he will buy some new players. What makes you think he will keep the faith with the ones he has?

these satements annoy the fook out of me....when me were winning everything between 35 and 20 years ago we could just about get away with saying things like that . Even then I'm there were players we hahad that some people didn't rate - look at the mancs now? No team has 11 world class players or a squad to match. Anyway given the dross that has played for this club over the last 20 years that statement has absolutely no relevance!! THe defenition of Liverpool quality has changed

I can't believe Insua is still getting his game - he is such a poor player and gets caught out time and again.................................we are talking about basic defending - a give and go or a ball inside the FB. Being young isn't an excuse for not having the basics. He's a carthorse aswell - does speed come with age? Lucas and Insua are getting in their respective national squads because they are playing for us!! Can't believe they have actually been watched by their international coaches

IMO Maradonna greatest of all time then Pele. Then Cruff, Franz Beck and Zindane ..... what a complete joy Zidane was to watch. Everything was done with precision and that fact that his brain was two steps ahead of those around him. I appreciate technique, touch, vision and guile much more then speed, strength and lashing in the ball in from 30 yards. That Why I love Zindane (and Beardo to a lesser extent )

How long was Bridge going out with her for?

cheers lads for the info

exactky one of my points! If we were going for a wedding with girlfiriends then grand! Cheers for the info Matty! We will only go for a weekend but want to keep the travel to a minimum. Seems like hassle staying in Positano and travelling up? I would prefer to go to Milan (Inter or AC) or Juve. One of my mates swears blind that there is no life in Milan at night and no pubs?! I am sure there must be a few around to have a decent session

Ha cheers!! Always thought the San Pablo looked a bit dodge. Partly becasue Napoli has a bad rep (justified or not I don't know) and partly because wne I used to watch them play fans would be starting little fires in the stadium! I can't remember how long ago that was though!

Myself and a few friends are talking about going to Italy to see a match. I'm thinking Milan or Juve whereas one of the lads wants to go to Napoli. Anybody been there for a match - is it safe in / around the stadium? He is talking about staying in Posatano by the coast and travelling up to Naples just for the match. Given that we will only be there for two nights is there enough time to do this?

a tad cruel but funny

How much do we know about this guy? Can he be trusted? Does he have the right moral fibre to own Liverpool Football club? Does he have enough class as a person? Does he ....... Fook all that s***!! Lets get him in!!

I have been saying about Whelan for a while now the man is a complete fool - watching him on Irish TV its almost like he's purposely spouting this s*** so who will get himself a job with RTE as a senior analyst when Dunphy / Giles give it up. Shame because he was a cracking player. By the way Whelan's biterness has nothing to do with the mancs I have no problem with any former player criticizing the club as long as it is done in a sensible and reasoned manner.

I'd go: Ferguson - whatever you think of him as a person he's one of the greatest managers of all time Mourinho - for what he has done at every club he has been at - still only mid 40's (not a huge fan of his style of football) Lippi - fantastic manager who has been out of the club game since 04 managing Italy most of the time - won world cup in '06 (duh!) . I loved watching that Juve team of the mid to late ninties - zidane, Deschamps, Jugovic, Di Livio, If Capello wins world cup with Ing-Er-Land next year he'd be up there - but he won't
