Last season only city paid higher wages than we do in the league, and only PSG, Real and Barcelona globally. I don't expect that to have changed after last summer's outlay. Except at some point you'd imagine barcelona dropping down the charts.

We will roll over galatasaray because they are a rubbish non English team and Slot will make some comment about how far we got under Klopp in 2021 or something, then at the weekend he'll complain it's impossible to play 3 games a week and sustain a league challenge as we play like normal against lower midtable teams and drop more points.

I actually fell asleep some time between the 65th and 70th minute. But reading the match report I am fairly confident I've seen the remainder of the game a number of times already this season.

He's absolutely correct. The main thing for me is not points or whether we win something, but how we play. We need to see a team with a clear identity and clear tactical and coaching imprint. I want to see the effect of having a better manager than the opposition.

It honestly looks like amorim-style "sack me" quotes. "I'm coming for your decisions, Rich. What are you gonna do?" It's just 22 guys chasing an inflated leather sack for 90 minutes. I don't know why anyone is ever bothered by the outcomes.
