  1. I love how Salah just scoops the cross like that
  2. Haven't really noticed him or Gakpo much yet.
  3. Who was the poster that kept talking s*** about Slot while propping up Amorim?
  4. Apparently he's due a 12m payout if sacked in the first year. The game of chicken makes sense now.
  5. I am a bit confused by that one as he is a totally different profile to Wharton. Would be hilarious to sign him after the mancs were all giddy about him in the summer though
  6. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. And today luckhurst writes an article stating that his job is considered safe by the owners. Weirdest game of chicken ever.
  7. Think they're going for a faithful remake of this one
  8. kinda. Except Haaland gets on the end of everything.
  9. I think technically he's good. What he doesn't have is the drive, intensity and anticipation to get regularly involved in a positive way in the game. If you don't get the ball to him in a great position, he won't do much to make something happen. Which means in a team like united, the game will mostly pass him by.
  10. Stolen from elsewhere: Amorim is football's Procrustes.
  11. "I am thinking to call ashworth and ask for his idea about the next manager"
  12. 12 points is amazing at this stage. It'd be nice if we could score a winner before the 83rd minute and actually control a game at some point soon. We shouldn't be riding our luck this hard in every game the way we have.
  13. And that's very good. Just not sure if he brings all the other things needed to play in a Liverpool midfield.
  14. Think I might be more keen on Elliott Anderson. Looks better defensively and plenty good enough on the ball.
  15. It's pretty simple. He took over a quite bad united team and made them twice as bad. He's probably correct when he said they are the worst united side ever.
  16. There's a part of me that reads that piece from Lahm and thinks he'd Old Money and therefore will always back the cultured crown prince of German football, and dismiss the unorthodox trickster who came through against the odds. If there were a political way of viewing football, Lahm's would be as tory as it gets. Based on this, I'd say he'd have backed Torres over Suarez too.
  17. Ferguson passed on Henderson because of his gait.
  18. He surely did. Mane's non scoring output was tracking back, carrying the ball from deep, taking people on and being a general menace. Salah's non scoring output was assists, being the outlet in behind and holding up the ball. And for all the tension between them, no one assisted more of Mane's goals than Salah.
  19. Been watching some random videos of stuff we did on the pitch under Klopp and my god, Sadio was a player. So aggressive on the ball, could do anything with it. Practically guaranteed to beat his man in a 1on1. Bottle out the wazoo. Must have been a nightmare to play against. I miss having him. Can't believe we used to have him and Salah on the flanks for so many years. What a cheat code.
  20. Curtis doesn't even know how to put on the headphones ffs Sell.

    Welcome VvD

Of best left backs I've seen it would be Maldini Carlos Marcelo Cole In that order.

Ferdinand definitely better than Terry who never liked having to defend with too much space in behind. He'd be killed in a high line. Carvalho was the one saving his bacon in those situations.
  23. Why didn't Ryan start?
  24. Bored of transfers now. and since this is an online forum, I am going to post about it and suggest that everyone else should be too.
